Verna Simons pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter. She was sentenced to the custody of the board of correction for an indeterminate ten-year period. On appeal, she raises two issues: (1) whether the district court abused its discretion in denying Simons postsentence motion to withdraw her plea; and (2) whether the ten-year indeterminate sentence was an abuse of the courts sentencing discretion. We hold that the district court did not abuse its discretion in either respect. We affirm.
